DIVERSE is the first exhibition presenting the complete photographic work of Pavel Brunclík, an individualist who has been part of the artistic scene for thirty years. It is arranged in four sections following the themes Brunclík has been pursuing throughout his life: The Other Women, Landscapes, The Geometry of Nudity and Portraits. This exhibition, held in the Municipal House from June 21 until September 30, is accompanied by a catalogue by the same name. Pavel Brunclík is a distinctive artist who defies the prevalent trends of the times and in cooperation with equally strong artistic personalities creates works with a unique atmosphere. In preparation of his book Be in the Landscape, Think Differently and Return a Better Person he collaborated with Václav Cílek, while his co-operation with Karolina Bayerová yielded an extraordinary publication entitled The Earth. Brunclík’s first book The Other Women was the result of his collaboration with Daniela Mrázková, a renowned Czech curator of photography, who later also participated in the preparation of the well-known book The Geometry of Nudity. Jiří Machalický, the curator of DIVERSE in the Municipal House, also curated another outstanding exhibition of Brunclík’s works: Portraits – 46 Czechs.Come and experience the magic.The exhibition concept: Katarina Brunclíková, Jiří Machalický
